Lucasfilms rolled out the red carpet for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story's Hollywood premiere Saturday night. It's an exciting week for Star Wars fans – Rogue One officially reaches theaters Friday, Dec. 16. But how does Star Wars' first anthology measure to Star Wars: Episode IV: A New Hope, the legendary film that Rogue One is inspired by? Quite well, as a matter of fact.
Premiere attendees took to Twitter to share their reactions to what is arguably the biggest movie of 2016. Check out the responses to Rogue One below:

Star Wars fans will be very happy with #RogueOne. It's fun, action packed, doesn't feel neutered by reshoots. Donnie Yen and K2so standouts.

It's difficult to imagine that Rogue One could tick all the boxes, but the overwhelming feedback suggests it's achieved just that. Reshoots were a major cause of concern for fans, but it looks like the film did not suffer any negative effects from them or even possibly saved the film. Its gritty war film direction distinguishes itself as an anthology movie, yet fans are quick to vouch Rogue One still feels like a Star Wars film.
But where does Rogue One: A Star Wars Story rank in the franchise? Comedian Dane Cook believes Rogue One might be the best Star Wars movie. But for those that would like a second opinion...
RANKING #StarWars! 1) Empire Strikes Back, 2) A New Hope, 3) #RogueOne, 4) Force Awakens, 5) Jedi, 6) Sith, 7) Clones, 8) Phantom Menace! pic.twitter.com/lBBMJnuT6e
