A new update is now live in Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising which introduces a new playable character. Prepare to meet Lucilius, a ruthless Astral who makes use of powerful skills albeit with long cooldowns. However, every time he uses a skill his Blade Level increases which in turn shortens the cooldowns. There's no question that he's dangerous especially when his Blade Level is increased early in the match.
Players able to unlock Lucilius as a playable character get to access additional features like a music track, weapon skins, badges, titles, and even card design. There are also stickers related to him though players won't need to unlock him to get them.
Other changes that arrived with patch version 1.1 are:
- General
- A new stage called as Feendrache has been added.
- Arcade Mode
- Experience points that are earned from winning a match have been increased.
- Online Lobby
- It's now possible to start spectating a match midway.
- Players can now cancel spectating a match midway.
- It's now possible to autosave replays of spectated matches.
- The font size of template messages have been increased.
- Grand Bruise
- Experience points which can be earned have been increased.
- Adjustments made in the item spawn rate in Golem Defense Force.
- Changed music for some stages.
Battle Adjustments
Bugs have also been fixed especially when it comes to the battle. One of those fixed was the issue where after a players evades a Raging Strike and then consequently evading a projectile, the Raging Strike evade animation plays again. Other issues fixed include:
- Narmaya (Raging Chain)
- Fixed an issue where if Narmaya changed stances prior to a Raging Chain, her stance would not change properly.
- Zooey (Dragon Gauge)
- Fixed an issue where after the dragon gauge has been depleted and Zooey uses Peacemaker's Wings during cooldown, the dragon gauge would not recover after.
- Anre (Seven Spears of Lightning)
- Fixed an issue where using a Raging Strike would cause the game to crash.
- To fix an issue that caused Raging Chains to whiff after a successful Raging Strike, Seven Spears of Lightning projectiles no longer have a hitbox while a Raging Strike connects.
Check out what else the patch brings to the game here. By the way you a new battle pass has been released which you can read more about here.
