The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross is launching a series of in-game festivals to celebrate its 2.5-year anniversary. There’s indeed a lot to be happy about considering that since its initial release in June 2019, the game now has at least 20 million players worldwide. The different events arriving are courtesy of a new update.
The new update, in particular, introduces a new festival hero, (Protector King) Fairy King Harlequin. This new hero joins the likes of “The One” Escanor, Purgatory Ban, and Merlin the Daughter of Belialuin. They’re available in the game for players to collect from December 7 to January 7.
There’s also a maximum of 110 Homecoming Hero pick-up Draws that can be obtained from the Homecoming event, along with 25 Festival pick-up tickets. Then, there is the One-step Evolution Support Bonus event, where players can evolve heroes to their maximum evolution level (UR 90 level).
Players can also enjoy other perks like:
- Free Daily Auto Clear Ticket Bonus. Allows players to continue once for free in Main Quests.
- 50% Stamina Consumption for Main Quests.
- Doubled player rank experience.
There is also Chapter 21 of the story and the Special Reverse Stage for everyone to experience.
What else is happening during this special milestone? The Demon Kimara and Demon Soldier Malek Event Boss Battles have returned, as well as other rewards like the 2.5 Year Anniversary Artifact cards and special costumes for Lostvayne Meliodas and “The One” Escanor. Players can also look forward to Valenti’s Very Ordinary Day Event where they have the chance to earn Celebration Artifact cards and a special Lostvayne Meliodas costume.
That said, there are different quality of life updates as well. These include being able to open artifact card packs continuously and the addition of the awakening material fusion system. Players can even now create a “fully awakened token” by fusing existing awakening materials.
