The Sims 4: City Living expansion pack is releasing Nov. 1, but there's a lot more content to look forward to come winter. A holiday celebration pack will release in late December and another untitled Stuff Pack will release sometime shortly after. However, if a recent reddit post from a Sims developer is taken at face value, it looks like we could be getting two staple expansion packs in the near future: Seasons and Pets.
SimGuruDaniel's cryptic message is a follow-up to a few tweets from last year, when he answered questions about the possibility of Seasons and Pets in The Sims 4.
These two DLC have been included in some form or the other in every incarnation of The Sims, so their announcement wouldn't come as too much of a surprise. Aside from toddlers, seasons and pets are also two of the most talked about missing features in the forums. Since City Living is an expansion pack, the next big DLC release should be a game pack, which would be necessary for expansive content like Seasons or Pets.
It remains to be seen what the theme is for the Stuff Pack announced in the quarterly teaser last month. Just about the only clue was a tuxedo logo, so it doesn't appear to be related to seasons or pets.
The Sims team hasn't affirmed statements from SimGuruDaniel, so for now, take this rumor with a grain of salt. Would you enjoy a Seasons or Pets game pack? Let us know in the comments below!
