The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim could be coming to Xbox One and PS4 after all. Based on recent insider leaks revealed by German gaming site GamePro, it looks like one of the most popular games of all time is getting the remastered treatment from Bethesda.
GamePro, claiming knowledge from known industry insider Shinobi602, says a remastered Skyrim will be getting announced during Bethesda’s E3 press event on Sunday, June 12. A later post on gaming forum NeoGAF also hints that the remastered Skyrim will come with mods on consoles, similar to Fallout 4 on Xbox One (and soon PS4).
GamePro also reports that Shinobi confirmed a Prey 2 announcement, a speculation iDigi has already reported on. Prey 2 is supposedly in development at Arkane Studios Austin, and will look nothing like the Prey 2 that was announced back in 2011.
That’s not all, Bethesda fans. Eurogamer has reported the coming announcements of both Wolfenstein 2 and The Evil Within 2. Wolfenstein 2 (which will probably have a different name, seeing as how that one doesn’t really make sense) was already rumored based on a slip-up by a voice actress during an interview. The Evil Within 2 is a new rumor that we haven’t heard about yet.
As for known information, Bethesda is also planning on showing off new gameplay footage for Dishonored 2. This shouldn’t be too surprising, seeing as how Dishonored 2 has a confirmed release date of Nov. 11.
