Sniper Elite 4 will make its retail debut sometime in Q3 2016, Rebellion announced this week, and a new partnership with Sold Out will bring the next entry in the Sniper Elite series to stores around the globe.
Last week, Rebellion published the first teaser trailer for Sniper Elite 4, a 68-second clip that confirmed the game’s setting (Italy, 1943) and revealed two locales we’ll visit in the Sniper Elite 4 campaign. But the trailer didn’t offer any sort of timeline for the debut of SE4, other than stating the game would emerge before the end of 2016. But a new press release from Rebellion, developer and publisher of Sniper Elite 4, confirmed the third quarter launch window on Monday morning.
In addition to providing an updated timeline for the game’s debut, Rebellion revealed a new publishing deal with Sold Out, a UK-based sales and marketing firm. The deal gives Sold Out exclusive distribution rights for the console versions of Sniper Elite 4, which will be sold in stores throughout Europe and the United States. For several years, 505 Games handled distribution of Sniper Elite’s console ports, but that changed with last year’s release of the Zombie Army Trilogy. To our knowledge, there’s been no word on a reason for the change in physical publisher.

Sniper Elite 4 is being developed for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The game is expected to debut sometime in Q3 2016.
