Solasta: Crown of the Magister Now Out on PC

If you’re a fan of tactical RPGs, then this news should make you happy. Solasta: Crown of the Magister version 1.0 is now finally out for PC. The release comes after seven months in Steam Early Access.

In Solasta, each character has a critical role to play in the campaign and thus, can be a hero. The game has several features that many players are sure to enjoy. There’s verticality where players can use their surroundings as part of the strategy. Another feature is the different ways in which light can be used, such as a tool for dungeon exploration or to combat creatures of the dark.

Here are some of you can expect in version 1.0:

  • A full epic campaign that takes players from level 1 to 10.
  • A large number of side quests to enrich and gear up the party.
  • Several new and exotic environments filled with dangerous monsters.
  • A full orchestral upgrade of Solasta's original soundtrack.
  • Improvements based on community requests.
  • Fewer bugs, more stability, better performance.
  • A sizable update to the Dungeon Maker, which is currently in beta.

Dungeon Maker Update

Speaking of the Dungeon Maker, three new environments have been added. Aside from Necropolis, players now have access to Stronghold, Lava Caves, and Elven Palace. Each one has different visuals, moods, and even props available.

The update to Dungeon Maker also adds new features including:

  • Inner walls to break existing rooms into smaller rooms
  • Activator gadgets to remotely trigger other gadgets, such as doors and monster spawns
  • A key and lock system hard-lock doors and chests

Soundtrack

In addition to the release of version 1.0, the official soundtrack can now be purchased and downloaded digitally. Produced and distributed by G4F Records, it comes with 23 tracks composed by Maxime Hervé.

The soundtrack is available on Steam as well as other platforms.

In a press statement, Tactical Adventures CEO and Creative Director Mathieu Girard shared that he has been a lifelong tabletop player and has long wanted to bring that passion to video games. He hopes that players could enjoy the finished product.
