Are you looking for a chance to prove your worth as a warrior? You're in luck because Star Trek Online is launching the Klingon Recruitment event tomorrow until March 9. For the duration of the event, all characters made are going to be Klingon Recruits and they get a bunch of new benefits and rewards.
Klingon Recruits have been designed to focus on the unique experience of being a warrior of the Empire. They have several advantages that ensure they can close the gap between new characters and those that have been in the game for a year. For example, all Klingon Recruits have an inherent bonus trait, which is periodically granting a cache of Dilithium Ore after defeating enemies. By the way, this trait is only available during the event and won’t be available once the Klingon Recruitment event ends.
These Recruits also have a secondary responsibility. It's important to know that their mysterious patron is focused on removing the enemies of the Empire. What happens is that after contacting Klingon Recruits during the tutorial, they're going to move against these same enemies. So, additional dangers and rewards to missions along the Klingon Storyline. Recruits able to succeed against these enemies get themselves a new T6 Bird-of-Prey that scales with their level.
There's going to be a list of goals for Klingon Recruits that they need to complete at any time. Finishing these results in the Recruits rewarded with equipment, Marks, and other rewards. These rewards aren't only good for the Klingon Recruit but also for all characters on the same account. Meanwhile, those able to complete story arcs are rewarded with a unique Ground Universal Kit while completing Ambush Kills in space and Melee Kills on the ground unlock a Starship Trait and Ground Personal Trait.

- T6 Scaling Bird-Of-Prey.
- Special Bat’leth that scales as players perform Melee Kills.
- Ground Personal Trait that provides scaling bonuses for Melee Kills.
- Endeavor Perk Experience bonus.
- Ground Universal Kit – Piezoelectric Execution Sceptre.
- Very Rare Duty Officer with Crit Energy Weapons Officer Trait.
- Unique Duty Officer and Admiralty Card.
