Star Wars Jedi: Survivor’s release date has been revealed, thanks to human mistake. Someone updated the Steam page of the game and revealed a ton of details about it. The sequel to the 2019 title will launch on March 15, 2023.
A lot more information was revealed by Steam including system requirements and pre-order bonuses. We have covered the PC specs in great detail in our next article. Continue reading here to know more about pre-order bonuses.
Pre-Order Bonuses
Pre-order bonuses depend on the edition players will buy. Pre-ordering the Standard Edition will reward owners of cosmetic items for Lightsaber, Blaster, and Cal, with each of these getting one new skin.
Pre-ordering the Deluxe Edition comes with even more rewards. On top of Standard Edition items, owners will also get “The Galactic Hero Cosmetic Pack” and “The New Hero Cosmetic Pack.” Both packs reward unique skins for Cal, BD-1, and Blaster.
Grain of Salt
The game’s Steam page has been scrubbed clean of details now. However, once it’s on the internet, it’s never really gone. The information is likely accurate, but we recommend that you take this with a grain of salt. The developer or publisher can decide to change the release date or pre-order bonuses later on.
In other news, more info about Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is inevitable. The developer has confirmed that gameplay footage will be revealed at The Game Awards 2022, which takes place in two days.
About the Game and Developer
Survivor will exclusively launch on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, leaving older-gen console owners in the dust. I think it’s a good thing because I don’t want a 2023 game to be held back by decade-old hardware.
You can look forward to even more Star Wars-related content from Respawn Entertainment. The developer has confirmed that it is working on an FPS and an RTS game based in the SW universe.
