Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will launch on current-gen consoles and PC sometime in 2023. The game’s actual release date hasn’t been revealed yet, but its Steam page is already up and running. The page shows some interesting things about the title.
Partial System Requirements
The game’s partial system requirements are unveiled. Like many modern games nowadays, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will only run on a 64-bit processor and operating system. We do not know if the game will support Windows 7 or not. But assuming that most new games don’t, I am thinking it will not miss the famous OS even though Fallen Order was released for Win7.
DRM and EA Account
This comes as no surprise. Like almost every EA game, this title will require an EA Account and use the Origin client. Many players do not like using other software to run the game, but I am afraid there won’t be a choice.
Denuvo?
We do not know if the game will feature the controversial Denuvo protection; the previous game used it, but the DRM was later removed. Some players may complain and not purchase the game if it uses Denuvo for protection. As of right now, Denuvo is not mentioned on the Steam page.
Possible Release Date
We cannot confirm the exact release date of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor except this year. However, there is a good chance that it will be released in early March. PSN Database revealed the title release date, but you can never be sure of zero delays. So, take this with a grain of salt.
About the Game
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is a sequel to the 2019 title, Fallen Order; the game is developed by Respawn Entertainment and published by EA. It is set five years after the events of the first game. Cal Kestis is one of the last Jedi in the galaxy and must remain one step ahead of the Empire.
