Stardew Valley is a cozy farming life sim that has a lot of content to keep players engaged. The game's expansive world offers hours of fun across multiple playthroughs.

An example of this is the game's quest system as there are more than 50 quests that can be completed. One of these missions is known as the Pirate's Wife quest that was added alongside Ginger Island with the game's version 1.5 update.

The Pirate's Wife Quest

That particular patch added a new area and new NPCs and stories. The Pirate's Wife quest can be done without any help but players need to know some of Stardew Valley's dialogues or characters to do so.

This guide helps you learn what you need to do in order to complete this particular quest along your journey. One thing to note is that the Pirate's Wife quest is not really similar to other quests in the game.

The majority of quests in Stardew Valley have the player bringing various items to NPCs. But with the Pirate's Wife, you will experience a full RPG questline.

You will be forced to go back and forth between NPCs and deliver items while getting others to continue the quest, according to PocketGamer.

The first thing to know about this quest is who exactly the pirate's wife is. Players who have already traveled to Ginger Island might have noticed a little hut to the left-hand side of the map. Here you will find Birdie, an NPC that is also called the pirate's wife due to the questline that you get from her.

You need to talk to her to start the quest and she will ask players for a little favor of finding something that belonged to her husband. The problem with this is that this quest sets you on a winding journey to get what you actually need to deliver to her.

The item in question is Birdie's Locket and you will first have to go back to Pelican Town for a series of item trades. The first NPC you need to go to is Kent, who will ask for a War Memento and give you Gourmet Tomato Salt, The Gamer said.

A Series of Item Exchanges

You then give Gourmet Tomato Salt to Gus who will exchange it for a Stardew Valley Rose. You then need to talk to Sandy and give her the rose to get an Advanced TV Remote. Bring this item to George and he will give you an Arctic Shard.

The Arctic Shard can be given to the Wizard in order to acquire a Wriggling Worm. This is the last item you need and the final NPC for this exchange is Willy who will give you the Pirate's Locket.

After you bring the locket back to Birdie she will reward you with the recipe for Fairy Dust and five Golden Walnuts. The former is useful because it can be used to instantly complete the production of any machine, according to Screen Rant.
