Fans of RWBY won’t have to wait long as Volume 3 of Rooster Teeth’s massive anime hit is set to premiere on Saturday, Oct. 24 -- for Rooster Teeth subscribers -- and to the public on Sunday, Oct. 25.
But while those who attended New York Comic-Con were treated to some great clips of the upcoming season of RWBY and a glimpse into the the RWBY Grimm Eclipse game that was greenlit on Steam -- congrats, to you guys -- nothing is more thrilling than to get the next year of adventures from Ruby, Weiss, Blake and Yang up and rolling.
So right before the first episode of RWBY Volume 3 premieres, check out the first official trailer to the upcoming season below.
A lot is happening in that first trailer and you may notice that the Vytal Festival Tournament will be taking center stage this year as the location of what will be going on in Volume 3.
Here’s the official synopsis of RWBY Volume 3:
“The Vytal Festival Tournament is the ultimate battle of skill, pitting the world's most powerful Huntsman and Huntresses in training against one another... and it's finally here. Ruby, Weiss, Blake, and Yang are back for a season of bare-knuckle brawls and over-the-top action, and they're not coming alone. New fighters from around Remnant are ready to throw down and bring glory to their kingdom, but there are those among them with a far more sinister goal in mind. It's RWBY: Volume 3 . Ready? FIGHT!”
New episodes of RWBY: Volume 3 will premiere weekly - on Saturdays for Sponsors and Sundays for the public - with a one week break on Saturday, Nov. 7 for Rooster Teeth's 24-hour Extra Life charity livestream. So be sure to check that out.
