WrestleMania 32 is still months away but besides the whole Undertaker/ Sting match or a possible Stone Cold/Lesnar matchup , the rumor mill for WrestleMania 32 has Ronda Rousey fighting in the ring.
This all stems from Ronda Rousey’s surprise appearance at WrestleMania 31 where she put Stephanie McMahon in an armlock.
And while the rumors of Rousey having a match at WrestleMania 32 were born that night it seems that some scheduling conflicts will prevent the MMA champion from stepping into the ring in Texas next year.
At a recent UFC press conference in Melbourne, Rousey was asked about the possibility of her appearing at WrestleMania 32.
“I would love to but I’m going to be in Jakarta filming my movie [Mile 22],” Rousey said, via Fox Sports . “If I was really going to be there, would you want to know or would you want to be surprised? I think a real wrestling fan would want to be surprised.”
Rousey makes a good point. While she is scheduled to be filming her movie, Mile 22 in Indonesia there is still a distinct possibility that she can make an appearance at WrestleMania 32.
Even UFC’s Dana White commented on Rousey in the WWE.
"The thing she did with WWE was cool, it was cool," White said. "She did a great job, I thought it was awesome, but believe me when I tell you she's got a lot of s**t to do. She's pretty busy. Why would you want to see her wrestle when you can see her fight?"
An obvious jab to the scripted nature of the WWE and White’s rivalry with WWE boss, Vince McMahon is well documented. And the saga of Brock Lesnar going from WWE to the UFC and back to the WWE has been in the spotlight so there is no shortage of bad blood between the two men.
But if Vince sees that Ronda at WrestleMania 32 is best for business and if Ronda is willing to do it, then it will likely happen.
