The Inhumans movie has been in the news a lot lately, and not for good reasons. There were rumors that the schism between Marvel Studios and Kevin Feige and the television side have doomed the Inhumans movie that is set for 2019.
Of course, those rumors were denied by multiple sources but it does beg to question when we will get any information regarding the production of Inhumans.
Granted, the film is not slated for years from now but with all the teases that Vin Diesel who has played Groot in Guardians of the Galaxy and in the sequel coming out in 2017, has dropped regarding the king of the Inhumans, Black Bolt fans are patiently waiting for confirmation.
But with Vin Diesel making the press rounds promoting his new film, The Last Witch Hunter there are bound to be questions about his future with Marvel Studios and MTV is reporting -- via Comicbook Movie -- that he would be happy to be part of Inhumans but he needs one thing.
Here’s Vin Diesel talking about his Marvel future on the “Happy Sad Confused” podcast.
"I don’t do too much ’ if it happens . Do you know what I mean?'… I don’t do too much ’ if it happens ,’ it’s more at what level it will happen… it’s not a matter of me wooing Marvel, it’s a matter of Marvel wooing me. And I love them, but I’m just saying, show me a dope script and show me a great director, all of which I know that Kevin [Feige] is capable of, because he dazzled me when he suggested Groot. That was, like, profound to me. I thought [Groot in Guardians of the Galaxy] was genius. I’m not doing anything just for work. I’m doing things that I can feel passionate about, and that I feel like I can contribute to.”

So it’s all but confirmed that Vin Diesel has plans to play Black Bolt but with nothing signed or any agreements made, Vin Diesel is simply waiting for Marvel Studios to get to Inhumans on its plate.
And maybe they should get on it before Vin Diesel decides to do three more Fast and Furious movies…. oh wait.
