A new trailer for EA Sports UFC 2 is out this week, just hours after Electronic Arts confirmed EA Access subscribers would get early access to the upcoming MMA game, and our latest UFC 2 preview confirms another round of fighters to be included in the UFC 2 roster.

The substantial gameplay trailer for EA Sports UFC 2 has been released by Electronic Arts, one week after our first video preview of the game hit the web, and our latest look at UFC 2 has us pretty excited about EA Sports next MMA game. Dozens of fighters appear in the new video, many of whom hadn’t yet been confirmed for the UFC 2 roster, which focuses on the improved knockout physics featured in this year’s UFC game. We even get a brief look at the physics engine bringing the game to life.

Elsewhere, popular MMA reporter Mike Bohn set off a minor controversy, among the UFC faithful, when he revealed the in-game rating for CM Punk. You know, the one guy on the EA Sports UFC 2 roster who hasn’t actually taken part in a professional fight yet. According to Bohn, the man formerly known as Phil Brooks is currently sitting on an overall rating of 85; a higher rating than many UFC veterans were given in the game’s predecessor. Naturally, fans began filing their complaints any/everywhere they could think of, including Twitter and the YouTube comments for this week’s trailer…much to CM Punk’s delight. For their part, EA Sports says ratings haven’t been finalized and could still change before launch.

To see new footage from UFC 2, including the latest digital recreation of CM Punk, take a couple of minutes to check out the latest gameplay trailer from EA Sports. Then hit the comments section and let us know if you’re planning to pick up a copy of UFC 2 when the game heads to stores this March.

EA Sports UFC 2 is being developed for PS4 and Xbox One. The game is scheduled to debut on March 15.
