Better Call Saul Season 1 is now available for streaming on Netflix. With Better Call Saul Season 2 premiering on Feb. 15, that gives you nearly two weeks to catch up.

Though Better Call Saul is a prequel (kinda) to Breaking Bad , the first season of Better Call Saul opens after the events of Breaking Bad , with Saul Goodman, criminal lawyer, living a new life under yet another assumed name. The events of Better Call Saul are framed as Saul dwelling on the mistakes that found him working at a Cinnabon in Omaha.

The rest of the Better Call Saul Season 1 charts Jimmy McGill (who would later become Saul Goodman) as he tries to become a legitimate lawyer. Of course, this involves a few illegitimate moves along the way.

But Better Call Saul Season 2 starts from an entirely different premise, one based in the ups and downs Saul experiences in the first season. To learn how Jimmy becomes the man he is during the Better Call Saul Season 2 premiere, get thee to Netflix and get watching. Or I guess you could just read the episodes synopses on Wikipedia.
