The new Rick and Morty game for iOS and Android, Pocket Mortys, is kicking ass on the top downloads chart in the App Store. Pocket Mortys is currently the top free app for iPhones, topping recent downloads of Candy Crush Jelly Saga, Instagram, and Snapchat.
Rick and Morty co-creator Justin Roiland revealed the massive download numbers for Pocket Mortys on Twitter:

'Pocket Mortys' Success: More To Come
Download numbers for Android have been less forthcoming, largely because it seems as if the Google Play Store doesn’t update downloads all that frequently (the Play Store currently has the download count up to 500).

Unlike the first Rick and Morty game, which was entirely about popping endless balloons, Pocket Mortys is far more of a full-fledged release. A knock-off of Pokémon, Pocket Mortys is all about capturing young boys, controlling their minds with computer chips, then pitting them against each other in combat.
Pocket Mortys hopes to have some staying power too, with Adult Swim Games promising additional content for the game in future updates.
@nintendofanboy6 @AlecBarrena correct!
