Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege Year 7 is only a couple of weeks away. The year’s first season, Demon Veil, has already been revealed. The upcoming season will bring tons of new content and improvements to the game.

New Operator
Y7S1 is bringing a defending operator named Azami. She’s Japanese, just like Echo and Hibana, but unlike them, she doesn’t work for the government. In the past, Azami worked as a member of the private security police.
She is a two-speed two-health operator and has no access to any new guns. Her primary weapon consists of 9X19VSN (Kapkan’s SMG) and ACS12 (Maestro’s and Alibi’s Shotgun). Her secondary weapon is D-50, which is also used by Valkyrie, Blackbeard, and Nøkk. She can choose either Barbed Wire or Impact Grenades as her secondary gadget.
Primary Gadget
Her primary gadget is a kunai-shaped Kiba Barriers. It is like a throwing knife that will patch up holes and cut off the line of sight. She has five of these knives, though she won’t get all of them at the start of the round. She will gain her knives over time like Lesion and Wamai.
Kiba Barriers are bulletproof and can be stacked up, meaning that you can block off entire hallways if used correctly. It can be thrown off anywhere, including roofs and floors. You can also use the gadget to block off drone holes, patch breach walls, close up open hatches, or use them as cover.
The barriers aren’t too OP since they can be destroyed by any kind of explosives. Three melee attacks will also destroy them. Kiba Barriers are like mobile but weaker Castle barricades. The developer is aiming for a drastic meta change just like Mira’s Black Mirror did.
IMO she also has the most stylish suit in the game. So, I am definitely maining her from now on.
