Total War: Rome Remastered is rolling out worldwide tomorrow on PC via Steam. The remaster drastically improved the visuals of the 17-year-old critically acclaimed game. Yesterday, the developer revealed more information about the title. The most important info was the official system requirements of the game. Thankfully, they are very reasonable since the game will practically run on a potato, but don’t try this at home.
You will need Windows 10 as anything below that won’t work. To run the game on the lowest settings at 30 FPS, you should be good with any Intel i3 processor or AMD FX-4000 series processor. For GPU, you should have an Nvidia GTX 600 series or AMD HD 7000 series with 1 GB of VRAM.
The recommended settings are higher as expected. Windows 10 is still required, however, you should have an upgraded version. For CPU, Intel Core i5-4570 or AMD Ryzen 5 1600 is more than enough. The CPU clock speed wasn’t mentioned though. For GPU, you should be good with Nvidia GeForce GTX 770 or AMD Radeon R9 290, either should have at least 4GB of VRAM.
The rest of the requirements are mentioned in great detail below. The developer also revealed the requirements for the Enhanced Graphics Pack and they are incredibly low as well.

You can preorder Total War: Rome Remastered via Steam. The vanilla version of the game can’t be purchased anymore, however, buying the remaster will give you access to the vanilla version.
