'UFC 2' Release Date Confirmed In New Gameplay Trailer; Coming To PS4 And Xbox One In March

A new trailer for EA Sports UFC 2 is out this week, days after the conclusion of UFC 195, and the general public’s latest preview of the upcoming mixed martial arts game includes the UFC 2 release date.

Ever since we learned who would join Ronda Rousey on the cover of EA Sports UFC 2, one of the biggest mysteries surrounding the game has been its launch timeline. Sure, some fans were probably concerned by the lack of gameplay footage in early teasers, particularly once we learned UFC 2 was being prepped for a Spring 2016 launch. But most MMA fans were probably just wondering when the sequel would be available for purchase. And now we know the answer to that question.

A newly-released gameplay trailer for EA Sports UFC 2 confirms the next MMA game from Electronic Arts will be available this March. While we still don’t have anything resembling a final roster, the new UFC 2 trailer confirms a number of well-known fighters will be featured in the game, including women’s bantamweight champion Holly Holm, featherweight champion Conor McGregor and welterweight champion Robbie Lawler. We also get to see digital recreations of some of the biggest fights from 2015.

EA Sports UFC 2 is being developed for PS4 and Xbox One. The game is scheduled to debut on March 15.
