Developer Iron Gate AB has introduced more adjustments to Valheim: Hearth & Home to keep things more balanced. Among these are the stamina cost adjustments to all melee weapons and changes to food stats. The update also brings some Halloween-themed elements into the game.
Those who are comfortable playing Valheim on a gamepad will be happy to know that the sensitivity issue has been fixed. For those who do not know, while there is a setting that allows you to change controller sensitivity, some users report that these changes are not saved. This has been resolved in the latest update.
Food stats have been tweaked in a way that foods that take more effort to make will provide better buffs. This change is applied to bread, blood pudding, and deer stew, among others.
If you have the knack for stealth kills, then you will be stoked to find out that all knives have more durability. This means that you can go for a longer killing spree now than before. As mentioned, all melee weapons cost less stamina, so you can whack enemies until they die without having to stop often.
Nocturnal monsters or those that spawn only at night will disappear more quickly now when the morning comes. Speaking of monsters, Fulings have their AI improved, making them spread more often and may run circles around you when the opportunity presents itself.
