A new major update has dropped to Injustice 2 Mobile and it sees the arrival of none other than Vixen. She joins the roster courtesy of Update 5.0.
For those not familiar, Vixen has the power to summon the abilities of any animal, whether in the present or from the past. When we say any animal, we mean any animal. It can be the agility of a gazelle or even the electric shock of an eel.
Vixen is now available through the Early Access packs. She is a Gold Support Hero that can channel the powers of the Tantu Totem to:
- Increase damage for her entire team
- Mitigate enemy Class Advantages
- Disable the Specials of her opponents
Vixen can also be acquired by earning Hero Shards in Versus Challenge, which arrives soon.
Arriving with Vixen is new content that includes:
- 7 Stars Unlock
- Players can now use new Legendary Intergalactic Orbs to promote their heroes to 7 Stars and unlock a 7th Talent slot with a chance to receive new Legendary Talents.
- Players can earn the newest Orb by trading in their existing Galactic Orbs or by completing any Solo Raids for a chance at a drop.
- Level Cap Increase
- Maximum player account levels, character, and ability levels have been increased from 70 to 80, boosting heroes’ damage and health even further.
- Players can now prepare for the upcoming Solo Raid. Coming in August, it introduces a new mercenary boss, while at the same time, giving players the chance to earn Legendary Hero Shards. Additional details of this feature are to be released soon.
In-Game Events
The new update also brings special in-game events which come with some good rewards. These are:
- Deadshot Invasion
- July 30 to August 10
- For a limited time, Deadshot may appear in Arena matches.
- Players who beat him earn his Hero Shards on top of Arena Season awards.
- FREE Player Gifts
- August 5 to August 9
- Collect a FREE player gift every 24 hours for five days straight.
- These gifts include a chance to get Hero Shards for Legendary Suicide Squad Enchantress and Suicide Squad Harley Quinn.
- New Profile Picture
- August 4 to August 13
- Available for a limited time
Players can now update their Injustice 2 Mobile profile pictures to “The Suicide Squad” logo to show their excitement for the highly anticipated film from DC and Warner Bros. Pictures. Read the complete patch notes here.
