Better Call Saul returns at 10 p.m. Monday, Feb. 15 on AMC.
The first episode of Better Call Saul Season 2, “Switch,” will explore Kim and Jimmy’s relationship now that Jimmy has been cut out of his own lawsuit and become estranged from his brother and his brother’s law firm Hamlin Hamlin & McGill.
The Better Call Saul premiere will also dive back into Mike’s criminal activities. AMC’s description for the premiere says Mike will be doing his “best to sever his affiliation with an unrestrained associate.” Could this be Mike and Nacho breaking away from dealings with the unstable Tuco?

While we don’t know specific plot points from the Better Call Saul Season 2 plot, executive producer Melissa Bernstein describes the “central question” of the season as “How far will Jimmy McGill get towards becoming Saul Goodman in Season 2?”

“Things get dark and things get big,” Better Call Saul co-creator Peter Gould says in the promo spot for the premiere.
While Better Call Saul Season 1 focused heavily on the relationship between Jimmy and his brother Chuck, Season 2 will seem them more openly antagonistic to each other. Instead, the premiere will flesh out the push-pull conflict between Jimmy and Kim, as she tries to convince Jimmy to halt his headlong rush into illegality and crime.
