Gears of War 4 releases on Oct. 11, but since it’s technically being developed by a new studio and for a new console, many may want to read a review before they make a purchase. Good news, because reviews will be getting posted before Gears of War 4 is released.
The review embargo for Gears of War 4 is Oct. 6 at 3:01 a.m. EDT. This will include coverage, impressions and scores. Videos and streams of the Versus multiplayer and Horde Mode 3.0 will be coming online a few hours earlier, starting at 9 p.m. EDT on Oct. 5.

In other Gears of War 4 news, new Xbox One S bundles have been revealed. The first one is simply the Gears of War 4 bundle, and comes with a 1TB white Xbox One S, a controller, and a copy of Gears of War 4. This bundle will be available starting Oct. 11 and will cost $349.
The second bundle is called the Gears of War 4 Special Edition bundle, and comes out Nov. 1. This includes a 500GB Deep Blue Xbox One S console, a controller and a copy of Gears of War 4. The Special Edition bundle is exclusive to GameStop and Microsoft stores, and will cost $299.
Of course, if you don’t want to wait, you can always get the p reviously announced Gears of War 4 2TB bundle, which includes a custom Gears-themed Xbox One S, a Gears-themed controller, a copy of Gears of War 4: Ultimate Edition, a Gears of War 4 Season Pass, six Gears Packs and exclusive in-game items. This bundle goes for $449 and is only available for a limited time.
