Xur is back, Destiny fans!
This week, Xur can be found in Tower North, near the Speaker's Observatory
It’s been a weird week for Destiny: Rise Of Iron players, thanks to the controversy surrounding this year’s Festival of the Lost, but it’s finally time for an in-game event capable of uniting the entire Destiny community. Even if that unification is for no other purpose than to share our anger over whatever lackluster collection of exotic items the Agent of the Nine is selling that weekend. Xur’s weekly offerings have certainly improved since the latest Destiny expansion hit PS4 and Xbox One. But it would be nice if we weren’t seeing the latest iteration of Year One content as we’ve been seeing since the released of Destiny: Rise Of Iron.
Last week, Xur returned to the Tower with an assortment of Year One and Year Two items with improved Light and attribute levels. Sure, it’s a bit easier to get excited about the return of Hawkmoon, now that a surprisingly diverse cross-section of exotic weaponry from the Destiny armor have unique weapon ornaments. But even the promise of a slight Light bump isn’t going to be enough for some players to get excited about their latest opportunity to purchase THE STAG, Skyburners Annex or Immolation Fists. The only question is whether or not Xur’s latest collection of exotic wares will be enough to keep the Destiny community farming Strange Coins for the next 48 hours.

Legacy Engram - Special Weapon
As always, Xur has plenty of other goodies for Destiny players to spend their Strange Coins, too. In addition to the exotic wares, the Agent of the Nine is also selling a handful of other curios, including Three of Coins stacks. And Destiny players will also find the usual legendary Sparrows upgrades, with purple and blue contrails available this week, along with Motes of Light, Heavy Ammo Synthesis and Glass Needles.
Xur is also selling weapon ornaments again this weekend. Players have two options:
- Moonglow - Changes the appearance of Hawkmoon
- The Wolves Remember - Changes the appearance of The Young Wolf's Howl
