Xur is back, Destiny fans!
This week, Xur can be found standing in Tower North, near the Speaker's Observatory
We’ve reached the tail-end of another big week for the gaming community. Oculus Connect finally delivered the launch date and price for the Oculus Touch controllers. Mafia 3 and Gears of War 4 both hit stores on Friday morning. Valve even started promoting the next Dota 2 Major. But few things have the potential to excite Destiny players quite like Xur’s weekly trip to the Tower. The Agent of the Nine’s inventory isn’t always exciting. But you can always tell when Xur has something great to sell by the number of Destiny players at the Tower on Friday morning. And this week's selection is so good your bound to see plenty of new and familiar faces when you visit Xur this weekend.
Last week, Xur’s trip to the Tower was a bit of a disappointment. Sure, the chance to acquire any Year 3 is still kind of exciting, given our proximity to the release of Destiny: Rise Of Iron. But it’s hard to get as excited about updated versions of equipment we’ve seen countless times over the last two years when Xur’s first appearance post-ROI saw the exotic item vendor offering a brand new gear (Transversive Steps) to Warlocks. Unfortunately, last week was mostly a return to form for Xur, who arrived at the Tower with The Armamentarium, Sealed Ahamkara Grasps, Voidfang Vestments and the MIDA Multi-Tool. Thankfully, the Agent of the Nine seems to be trying to rehabilitate his public image this weekend because he brought along one of the best line-ups we've seen in months.

Legacy Engram - Primary Weapon
As always, Xur has plenty of other goodies for Destiny players to spend their Strange Coins, too. In addition to the exotic wares, the Agent of the Nine is also selling a handful of other curios, including Three of Coins stacks. And Destiny players will also find the usual legendary Sparrows upgrades, with purple and red contrails available this week, along with Motes of Light, Heavy Ammo Synthesis and Glass Needles.
Xur is also selling weapon ornaments again this weekend. Players have two options:
- Shock Hazard - Changes the appearance of Zhalo Supercell
- Queen's Command - Changes the appearance of Telesto
