Dark Horse made an announcement at the 2016 New York Toy Fair: A high-end line of Witcher 3 collectibles and statues is coming soon! Are you a huge fan of The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt? Well, you’re in good company; here at iDigitalTimes, Witcher 3 was one of our favorite games of 2015 . The game got its first major DLC pack, Hearts of Stone, back in the fall. The next and final DLC pack, Blood and Wine , is still forthcoming, and will be Geralt of Rivia’s last adventure. But if you want to take your love of Witcher 3 into the physical realm while you wait for the rest of the DLC, you’re in luck.
The Witcher 3 Collectibles: High-End Statues Coming Soon
Dark Horse hasn’t released the full details on its new Witcher 3 range, but here’s what we know so far: It’s going to include a “large range” of stuff, including “statues, busts, and action figures; prop and jewelry replicas; and barware, stationery, and other collectibles.” That’s quite a broad license! The series will commence with a series of sculpted figures, initially Geralt, Triss and Ciri. Yennefer and Eredin will follow. All the statues will run for $30, which is quite competitive compared to other such things (and leaves a window open for extra super-fancy statues down the road).
Beyond that, Dark Horse has yet to announce any specific plans for Witcher 3 collectibles, although the range of items the company mentioned certainly give us an idea of what direction it’s going in (Witcher barware? That’s a yes please!)
We don’t have a release date for any of the Witcher collectibles yet, but Dark Horse has released an image of the Geralt statue—above—so clearly they’re pretty far along. What do you think? Are you interested in some physical Witcher 3 collectibles like these? What do you hope Dark Horse brings out?
