Get ready for a new adventure and see if you have what it takes to save the Three Kingdoms from demons. That's because action-packed dark fantasy Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is now available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
To celebrate the game’s official launch, KOEI TECMO America released the Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty original soundtrack across different music platforms. It has 53 songs from the game, including numerous masterpieces by Kenichiro Suehiro, the same composer responsible for the musical work on Re:Zero - Starting Life in Another World and Golden Kamuy.
The game is set in 184 AD during the Later Han dynasty in a land covered by chaos and destruction. The imperial dynasty is now on the verge of collapse and it's up to a nameless militia soldier to overcome adversity. Along the way, this soldier has to fight for survival in Three Kingdoms plagued by demons and overrun by some of the most powerful and intimidating warriors in history like Liu Bei, Cao Cao, and Sun Jian.
To overcome this challenge, players need to awaken their inner strength by mastering the fluid swordplay of Chinese martial arts, cast wizardry spells based on the Five Phases (elements), and summon Divine Beasts when things go bleak.
In a statement, Producer Fumihiko Yasuda shared that as a child, he had long been captivated by the story "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" as depicted in manga and movies. He added that he hopes players will enjoy the game as they use different strategies to challenge vicious demons and powerful warriors.
Meanwhile, Development Producer Masaaki Yamagiwa revealed that they received a lot of feedback from players during the game's trial version and they've done their utmost to make sure that it exceeded expectations. He went on to say that he hopes everyone will enjoy the exhilarating atmosphere.
New Collaborations
While the game has just been released, there are already collaborations with one of them now live in Naraka: Bladepoint. For Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, it's going to be available as an upcoming DLC.
There's also a planned collaboration with the clothing brand EDWIN, with items based on the game world to be created in collaboration with Team NINJA. More details will be announced soon.
