World of Warcraft released content update 8.2.5. which introduces new character models and new quests. The update also makes changes to four classes in the game. Even more important is that the update ensures that you get to party up with your friends easier.
For this new update, Worgen and Goblins are getting new character models. These two races were introduced during the Cataclysm expansion. This improvement is long-anticipated and updates on each aspect of their look, from the faces to their animations. You are sure to enjoy the improvements made.
In terms of quests, two new ones are offered:
- The War Campaign Concludes
- The tensions continue to rise between the Anduin, Saurfang, and the Banshee Queen Sylvanas. It's finally time to learn the fate of the Alliance and the Horde in the War Campaign's final chapter.
- Magni Bronzebeard
- As N'Zoth's is about to emerge, you have no choice but to get help from a rather unlikely ally, the Black Prince Wrathion. Players should be at least level 120 to start this quest. All they need to do is look for Magni in the Chamber of Heart in order to continue the story and learn more about the whereabouts of the Black Dragonflight.
Party Up With Friends
The most interesting improvement is that the 8.2.5 update makes it easy for you to party up with friends. To start off, the update introduces what is known as Party Sync. When Party Sync is activated, all players in the party become aligned to the same quest state and phase. When you mouse over a quest in your tracker, you get to see who is on a given quest, what their current progress is, and who is ready to turn it in. There is also a "replay quest" which allows players that have already completed certain quests to replay those quests with their friends. The thing is, regardless of the original level of the quest, the rewards given remain to be appropriate to the current level of those in the party.
This new feature also relaxes level restrictions. This means lower-level players can line up for instanced combat in their level range while higher-level players have the option to join them with their level scaled down. This level scale is not like Timewalking since higher-level players temporarily lose access to both their abilities and powers.
