The first batch of WWE 2K17 DLC is now available for purchase on the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live. It’s not technically new, since the Goldberg DLC was offered as a pre-order incentive for the game, but it is the first WWE 2K17 content to hit either console’s digital marketplace since the game’s mid-October debut.
If you somehow missed out on all of the game’s pre-launch promotion, the WWE 2K17 Goldberg Pack includes two versions of former WWE and WCW champion Bill Goldberg. It also includes two WCW venues, Monday Nitro and Halloween Havoc, for use in a variety of game modes. It’s not an especially large collection of content; however, Goldberg’s recent return to WWE television will almost certainly help with sales of WWE 2K17’s first add-on. Assuming, of course, that those who’d be motivated by recent WWE storylines weren’t the same folks pre-ordering what we found to be a disappointing addition to the WWE 2K franchise. At least it's relatively inexpensive.
For a brief glimpse of the WWE 2K17 Goldberg Pack, take a minute to review the teaser trailer published prior to the game’s launch. Then head down to the comments section and let us know if you’re planning to pick up the Goldberg DLC and/or any other post-launch WWE 2K17 content.
WWE 2K17 is now available on PlayStation 3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. The game's first add-on, the Goldberg Pack, is currently available for $4.99.
