The first content pack for XCOM 2 will be available March 17. The turn-based shooter places you in a world overrun by aliens, and you’re the only one who can assemble a team to beat them. Anarchy’s Children features “more than 100 new exotic soldier customization options, including new hairstyles, face paints, armor, lower face props, decals, helmets, masks and more. With menacing styles that run the gamut from post-apocalyptic to the downright deranged, soldiers will strike fear into ADVENT and the alien overlords.” The pack will be available for $4.99 or can be obtained by buying the Reinforcement Pack, which comes with two additional pieces of DLC, for $19.99.
These costume pieces can help you live out your Mad Max fantasies, creating a ragtag team of soldiers that look like they don’t belong in a covert military operation. A leather jacket should not be worn in a war zone, unless you’re either in a thunderdome or Mel Gibson. I would not want a soldier to have black face paint, a Mohawk and a nose ring, but that might just be because my world hasn’t been destroyed by aliens (yet).
A patch for XCOM 2 is also under development, which includes performance optimization and gameplay bug fixes.
