The roster of hunters in Solo Leveling: ARISE just keeps getting bigger. This time around, Yoo Soohyun lends her skills to the fight courtesy of a new update. The update also launches events where players get to earn rewards.
Going back to hunter Yoo Soohyun, she's a fire-type SSR mage able to shoot magic and can penetrate the solid defense of her enemies. Her ultimate skill is known as "Zeroed-in Blast," which allows her to gather magical energy within her firearms and then release it all at once. Her abilities include "Trick Shot" that let her fire a large-caliber bullet. Meanwhile, "Kill Shot" has her fire two consecutive shots that's then followed by an additional powerful shot.
The new update also launches special events which run until July 31. These are:
- Summer Event Prelude Check-In
- Players who check-in the game during the event period get to earn rewards like:
- Yoo Soohyun's exclusive SSR weapon "Overdrive"
- Heroic Rune Chest
- Heroic Blessing Stone Chest
- Yoo Soohyun Release Celebration! Capsule Draw
- Use ticket earned by completing missions to obtain rewards that include:
- SSR Overdrive
- Rate Up Draw Tickets
- [Event] Yoo Soohyun's Weapon Design
- Yoo Soohyun Growth Tournament
- Clear the special missions during the event period to earn points.
- Based on the points earned, players have a chance to win various rewards including SSR Overdrive, Hunter Exclusive Weapon Design, Rare Run Chest and more.
Other New Content
The update introduces what's known as the Battlefield of Trials Challenge. Here players get to obtain rewards by clearing stages and completing missions. The Battlefield of Trials meanwhile has been expanded to Floor 50.
There's also a new Secret Library content available for players who have finished all stories in the Hunter Archive. Players can get Secret Library Progress Point by clearing the content and then have the chance to earn special rewards, including Hunter costumes. Speaking of the Hunter Archive, players can now experience never-before-told stories of Yoo Soohyun and Baek Yoonho.
Other improvements that arrived with the new update enhanced stats for Tier 3 and Tier 4 Gems. There's also a new Point System for the Battlefield of Chaos.
Solo Leveling: ARISE is an action game adaptation of the hit Webtoon Solo Leveling. It's available on mobile through Google Play and the App Store. A version for the PC is currently in the works.
