The Young Justice Season 3 release date is set for 2018. Now dubbed Outsiders, the series will launch on a DC-branded streaming service alongside the newly announced live-action series, Titans.
DC has been talking about expanding its direct-to-consumer digital platforms for years and recently launched Boomerang, an animation-driven video service to watch old cartoons like Looney Tunes , Scooby-Doo and Tom & Jerry for $5 a month . However, Titans and Young Justice will premiere on a second, more comic book oriented, service.

“Operated by Warner Bros. Digital Networks Group, the new digital service will deliver an immersive experience designed just for DC fans,” the press release states.
In Outsiders, the team faces its greatest challenge yet by taking on meta-human trafficking and the terrifying threat it creates for society. They get caught in the crossfire of a genetic arms race spanning the globe and the galaxy. Sam Register (Teen Titans Go!) is executive producer alongside the series’ original creators, Brandon Vietti and Greg Weisman.
Young Justice Season 2 ended in November 2013 and fans have been begging DC Entertainment to continue the series ever since. It looks like creator Greg Weisman’s step-by-step plan to revive the series has paid off. After months of petitions, speculation and bingeing of the first two seasons on Netflix, Warner Bros. officially announced Young Justice Season 3 in November 2016.
Titans was pitched to Warner Bros. partner TNT back in 2014, but didn’t go to series. The show will also debut in 2018 and is in the good and familiar hands of Akiva Goldsman, Geoff Johns, Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schechter. The series follows a group of young soon-to-be Super Heroes recruited from every corner of the DC Universe. Dick Grayson emerges from the shadows to become the leader of a fearless band of new heroes, including Starfire and Raven.
