Sony has a lot of exclusives coming for PC, including superhero games like Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered and its spin-off title, Spider-Man: Miles Morales. The recently announced The Last of Us Part 1 is also confirmed for PC.
Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection
That’s not all. Another previously announced game has been in development for the master race for a long time. I am talking about Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection. The collection was announced for PC and PS5 in September 2021 during PlayStation Showcase. The game will be released on PS5 first and shortly after on PC.
The Long Wait
The console release date was January, so many thought that the PC version would be out by March; that never happened though. The “shortly after” turned into 11 long months, and we don’t even have an actual release date. Steam and Epic Games Store still show the release year as 2022. But there is a good chance it could be delayed.
There is no way the PC version of Uncharted will launch in August, as that’s when Spider-Man is coming. Sony wouldn’t release two exclusives so close to each other and cannibalize their sales.
Another PlayStation Showcase shouldn’t be far away. I bet we will see more about Uncharted during the event. Who knows, maybe Sony will surprise us and announce The Nathan Drake Collection for PC as well. It’s highly unlikely, but hey, a guy can dream, right?
Previously Announced Games
I find it funny that the PC versions of God of War and Spider-Man were confirmed after the Legacy of Thieves Collection. One of them is already out, and another will be in less than two weeks, whereas Uncharted is nowhere to be seen.
A while ago, PC screenshots of Returnal and Sackboy: A Big Adventure were leaked. Just imagine how humorous it would be if these two titles came out first.
