The PC version of Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection was announced in September 2021. However, even after nine long months, we don’t even have a release date. PC players, including myself, have been patiently waiting for it.
SteamDB Changed Release Date
A few days ago, the release date of the game collection was changed on SteamDB. Previously, the written date was July 15, but then it was changed to October 19, which many thought was the game's release date. However, on the same day, the date was changed again, and this time to December 30. The recent date likely suggests that it is a placeholder and not the launch date of the PC version.
Not an Official Announcement
Even though SteamDB is changed by the developer, this still doesn’t count as an official announcement. The actual release date might be earlier than December 30. However, if the developer needs more time, I won’t be surprised if there's a delay. Let's hope Sony won’t repeat the bad PC port of Horizon Zero Dawn.
I think it’s safe to say that the game isn't coming this August, as that’s when the PC version of Spider-Man Remastered is launching. Sony won’t want their titles to compete with each other, so it would make sense to space out the release dates.
Rumored State of Play
Several rumors suggest that Sony will be holding a State of Play later this month. It would obviously be focused on God of War Ragnarök. However, there’s a chance that Sony could also use the same event to reveal the PC release date of Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection . We could see more of The Last of Us Part 1 Remake as well but that’s just wishful thinking.
Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection contains remasters of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy. The collection was released on PS5 in January, with a PC version following later.
