The American Horror Story Season 6 theme remains the best kept secret in Hollywood. But patrons of San Diego Comic-Con can immerse themselves in an AHS VR Experience. This is as much new information the public has received about the upcoming FX Anthology.
At the end of a recently released teaser for the American Horror Story Fearless VR Experience, we see the hybrid number six and question mark logo, which leaked in late June. We see a separate number six and then a question mark, then the conjoined logo and then the AHS Season 6 premiere date, Sept. 14, but not much else.
The scene from the Fearless VR Experience teaser looks like it could have come from Season 5, American Horror Story: Hotel. We see dank hallways, and what appears to be a bathtub or a gurney. We also see fetuses and body parts contained in glass jars, which could very well allude to Season 1, American Horror Story: Murder House.
Some current theories about the AHS Season 6 theme suggest we may see more of a tie back to Season 1, which ended with the indication that the Antichrist had been born . Murder House remains one of American Horror Story’s most chilling and well executed seasons (in our opinion). Bringing back such aspects that hooked fans to the show would certainly be received well.
AHS Executive Producer Ryan Murphy has stated Season 6 may include some tropes around children. There have also been rumors of the season navigating two themes. But Murphy and other show runners have most details strictly under wraps. With many actors confirmed for Season 6 saying they know nothing about their roles.
After Comic-Con, E! News is hosting a sneak peek of the FXhibition attraction from July 21- 24 at the Hilton Bayfront Park in San Diego, giving patrons another chance to check out the American Horror Story Fearless VR Experience.
