Though previous reports have indicated the American Horror Story Season 6 cast may be smaller than previous seasons, another AHS alumnus has revealed his role in the upcoming anthology.
Actor Matt Bomer recently confirmed he will be apart of Season 6, telling Movie News Guide he will not be featured in every episode but plays a very important role.
Bomer is among several AHS actors who have spoken about the show and their status for Season 6. However, like his castmates, he has not given up any details about what the theme of the upcoming season may entail.
“I don’t know anything about Season 6, electively so. It’s coming back, and I know that I will be a part of it at some point, which is great and I’m incredibly excited about, but sort of electively and also non-electively, I don’t really know what the concept is,” Bomer told MNG.
The actor played Donovan in American Horror Story: Hotel and Andy in American Horror Story: Freak Show.
American Horror Story fans got a surprise last Thursday after several social media pages for the show went black . This lead many to believe a theme announcement was imminent. However, the AHS Facebook page, Twitter and Instagram still have black profile images and cover photos with no further explanation.
Actor Evan Peters, also confirmed for Season 6, told People filming for the show would begin June 7. There has been no word from showrunners about the production progress of the show. Peters also claims that he doesn’t know anything about the Season 6 theme.
One of the most recent actors confirmed for a role in AHS Season 6 is Leslie Jordan, known for his role as Quentin Fleming in Coven. Jordan told the Washington Blade he would begin filming with Lady Gaga July 7, but also did not reveal any other details about the season.
American Horror Story cast confirmed so far include Lady Gaga, Angela Bassett, Denis O’Hare, Evan Peters, Leslie Jordan and Matt Bomer.
American Horror Story Season 6 is expected to return to FX in October.
