The "Fuel What’s Next" campaign of Rockstar Energy Drink is making its way to the virtual world courtesy of a collaboration with PUBG Mobile. Players can look forward to a new in-game experience which features Angus Cloud.
The “Fuel What’s Next” campaign was launched in November 2022. It has resulted in Rockstar Energy getting the chance to explore and contribute to different joint passions which Angus Cloud and the brand both share. These include motorsports, art, fashion, and even skateboarding. This year, that journey moves forward with Angus getting his very own in-game skin in PUBG Mobile.
Take the Challenge
The "What’s Next Set" that Angus Cloud sports in the mobile game is inspired by his IRL fashion sense. This set comes with a gold puffer jacket, black hat, and sunglasses. Players can also join the "What’s Next In-Game Challenge," running for four weeks. This challenge has players unlock in-game rewards and exclusive Rockstar Energy inspired items.
The first player to beat the challenge gets their hands on a real-life one-of-a-kind Rockstar Energy Polaris Slingshot valued at $38,000. This is only available to U.S. players.
In a statement, Angus Cloud revealed that he grew up playing video games with his friends and has thought it's cool to be part of one. He added that Rockstar Energy and the game were able to make this dream come true. He went on to say that he hopes those who use his skin can treat it as an inspiration that anything is possible.
Meanwhile, PUBG Mobile Senior Director of Marketing shared that it's always exciting to partner with a popular celebrity who can connect with the players. He shared that when Rockstar Energy proposed the idea of bringing Angus Cloud to the game, they knew it was a perfect fit.
Special Event
In celebration of the launching of Angus Cloud’s game integration, there’s a “ PUBG MOBILE x Rockstar Energy Drink ‘What’s Next’ livestream from the NRG Castle” happening tomorrow, April 27, hosted by Rockstar Energy. There’s also a special performance by rapper Don Toliver. Tune in to the NRG Twitch.
In PUBG Mobile, up to 100 players parachute to a remote island and fight in a winner-takes-all showdown. It is available on Android and iOS.
