Version 2.0 update for PUBG Mobile is now live. There are several interesting fresh pieces, such as a new map, a new vehicle, and new weapons. Players can also enjoy new mini-games and experience the classic map improvements.
The new map is actually something a lot of players have been waiting for - the official Livik map. In this one, all urban areas have been redesigned. All stage structures and graphics are upgraded to allow for more diverse combat experiences and strategic depth.
For the other stuff, these are:
- New Vehicle
- UTV
- New Weapons
- AKM
- M416
- P90
- MK12
- M24
Mini-Games
The new update introduces cool activities that include:
- Random Crates and Treasure Maps
- Crates filled with equipment and items now appear randomly on the map.
- This should allow players to find better supplies faster.
- Treasure Maps also help players locate nearby Supply Crates faster.
- Wild Berries
- Consume wild berries to replenish Energy and stay on the battlefield longer.
- Soccer Challenge
- Blomster now has a special soccer field.
- Use aiming skills to score goals and obtain token rewards.
- Storage Room
- A batch of firearms has been stored inside the Aqueduct.
- Use firearms or explosives to break through the walls and claim it.
- Zipline
- Players can approach the new Zipline and attach themselves to it to zip over to the platform on the other side.
- It's a great means of escape, especially for those who are stuck in the Blue Zone or surrounded by enemies.
Classic Map Improvements
One of the new improvements that players can try is the Emergency Pickup. This is good for those who want to move quickly to the Playzone. It summons a rescue plane that picks up players and flies them to the Playzone. At any point along the route, players can choose to jump. The only drawback is, if you can call it that, it's only available in Erangel and Miramar in Ranked and Unranked Mode.
Another improvement is the haptics which can be enabled on the Settings screen. With this, players can enjoy a more immersive game experience. This feature is only available on select devices.
Finally, players should be happy to know that shotguns have been buffed. Changes include:
- Increased the hit damage ratio of shotguns:
- From 1.25 to 1.5 for headshots
- From 0.9 to 1.05 for limb shots
- Increased long-distance damage.
- Expanded the capacity of the S12K to 10 rounds.
- Improved the bolt-action speed of the S1897.
- Slightly increased the basic damage of Sawed-off shotguns.
