Good news for Apex Legends players! The 9v9 mode Control is making a return to the game courtesy of the Warriors Collection Event. This particular event started on March 29 and is expected to run until April 12. In addition to the temporary return of Control, there's also the Caustic Treatment given to Kings Canyon.
The Caustic Treatment has resulted in Kings Canyon turning into a three-point battleground. There's also the extra cover added along with skydive launchers, ziplines, and even a hover tank. On the map, Caustic’s Lab has been made into a highly defensible fortress that can be controlled by the right team. That doesn't mean it can't be defeated. Attackers can easily beat it if they have solid coordination and a well-timed offensive push.
New Arena Map
High above the skyline of Malta, players are likely to discover the fully automated Hammond Manufacturing Tower. This structure was constructed for the purpose of the early production of critical systems for Olympus. The site is codenamed Drop-Off and remains to be operational. At night though, Arenas fighters covertly commandeer the place for truly fierce matches.
Points of interest in Drop-Off are divided between Interior and Exterior. The interior is divided between the Observation Deck and Deployment Line. Meanwhile, the exterior has the Loading Bay.
New Items
In addition to the return of Control and a new map, the Warriors Collection Event also brings with it a new set of 24 themed, limited-time cosmetics. These include new Legendary skins like the “Synthetic Huntress” Ash Skin, “Riding Dirty” Octane Skin, “Jewel Olympus” Horizon Skin, and “Combat Survivalist” Lifeline.
Reward Tracker
Throughout the event, players can earn as much as 1,600 points per day with challenges refreshing daily. Available as well are stretch challenges which reward four unique badges for those who can finish them during the event. In addition, all of the challenges stack with the Battle Pass, which means players can complete multiple at once.
The new event arrives in the game through a patch which you can read more about here.
