Ark: Survival Evolved is a game that takes place on an island full of prehistoric animals. But it doesn’t mean that we can’t celebrate the holidays. That’s why Winter Wonderland is back bringing new presents and goodies for everyone. This event started on December 14 and runs until January 6.

Lost Island
The Winter Wonderland isn’t the only thing that players can expect. That’s because Lost Island is now available as well. This is the newest official community map of the game and it features three new tameable creatures. Once tamed, players can issue commands to these creatures and even ride them. The creatures are actually the Amargasaurus, Dinopithecus, and Sinomacrop.
The island itself offers 150 square kilometers of new biomes, mysterious ruins, and new challenges. The question is, do you have what it takes to survive the Lost Island?
Holiday Loot
In the spirit of the holidays, some loot has been stashed away for everyone to grab. To get the loot, just follow these instructions:
- A donation of 1$ or greater to ExtraLife.
- Donations must be made at the Studio Wildcard ExtraLife donation page.
- Only new donations are eligible (donations made from the current date forward)
- A picture submission on Twitter using the hashtag #ARKHolidayLoot
- A picture submission in the Community Crunch thread.
Ark: Survival Evolved is available on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Stadia. There’s also a version for Android and iOS.
