The Mid-Season Update also introduces new weapons to the game. One of the best of the bunch is the Keybat because it allows players to perform combos that ultimately lead to a grab, which deals massive damage when everything connects.
This update adds a new accessibility tab in the options menu that allows players to tweak or enable certain features, including dialogue subtitles and colorblind mode.
This patch brings two new game modes that players can choose from. The first is where players can use cutting-edge technology and engage in things that may likely happen in the colonization of space. The second mode is more grounded and tackles issues similar to what is happening in the real world.
The 60mm Flak Weapon Pod is also now effective against air units. However, its effectiveness against infantry units is lowered, seemingly to punctuate the point that it's only meant for aerial vehicles.
One of the features introduced in this update is the new on-screen bleed indicator. When enabled, players can see blotches of blood on the HUD, which gives them a rough idea of how severe their cuts are.
All of Beatrix's weapons now have slightly faster reload speeds. However, their basic attack damage has been reduced across the board, likely to balance things out.
The changes made to Lesley might put some players off, especially those who use her extensively. Gusion's passive got a lot better and perhaps may even make him quite competitive in the current meta.
Players can now equip multiple armor pieces at the same time. In addition, a few biomes in the game got significant changes, most notably the Spire Coast.
