Batman Arkham HD Collection is real, and will be coming out on June 10. This comes from a leak shared by a GameStop employee to Eurogamer.
The leaked photo shows a listing for Batman Arkham HD Collection, with a release date of June 10. The contents of the collection will include Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City. Both games will be updated for PS4 and Xbox One, and will include all released DLC and content.
Disappointingly, the Batman Arkham HD Collection will not feature Batman: Arkham Origins. The prequel, made by WB Montreal, was never released for Xbox One or PS4. Thanks to the Xbox One Backward Compatibility program, Xbox One owners may still be able to play it on their newest consoles. This hasn’t been confirmed yet, so we’ll have to wait to see what WB Interactive does.
Like any other rumor, this could easily be a dupe or something misleading. Eurogamer is a respected publication, so they aren’t likely willing to run something if it isn’t true. That being said, people have been tricked in the past.
If this leak is real, which it probably is, expect to hear a proper announcement from WB Interactive over the next few weeks.
