Good news for Batfleck fans! Time Warner CEO Jeff Bewkes just gave The Suicide Squadcast (via IGN ) the scoop about when to expect a new solo Batman movie.
Now that everyone’s moved on from the disaster that was DC’s Suicide Squad movie, we can look forward to Wonder Woman , Justice League and the upcoming Batman solo film. Ben Affleck was one of the best parts of Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice and fans have faith he’ll do the character justice. Bewkes assured fans they’ll see the production begin sooner than later.
"Ben announced a Batman movie [that] he's going to direct, star, write for—I think it’s a year and a half out,”’ Bewkes told the Suicide Squadcast .
If that doesn’t get you pumped, Joe Manganiello is already preparing to take on the role of Deathstroke. The ridiculously attractive actor shared an image of Deathstroke source material on his Instagram.
Deathstroke is an interesting choice for Affleck’s first Batman villain. Many thought it might be Joker, but DC didn’t do a great job of introducing him in Suicide Squad . Anyway, check out the full DC movie lineup below:
