Black Desert Online is all set to introduce Season of the Hunt. These in-game events are going to be added to the game on September 25. This latest addition brings with it challenging events that reward players with exclusive items, increased drop rates, and experience boosts.
Season of the Hunt offers a series of events laid out across a three-week period with each event lasting around two weeks. The event begins with the Trina Knights First Captains Support Kit giveaway for high level players and lasts for seven days. What the kit does is it lets players experience high tier weapons and accessories. In order to be eligible, players need to be between level 56 and level 58. Eligible players can claim the kit beginning September 25 up to October 23.
Two other features that arrive with Season of the Hunt include:
- Fever Time Boost
- The buff begins September 25 and ends October 8.
- All players get as much as +200% Combat EXP and +30% Skill EXP boost.
- Through this boost, players should be able to level-up faster.
- This event is ideal for players who want to level their alts.
- Special Challenges
- Available through the first two weeks of the event.
- Players get rewarded for playing at a certain time duration. Special items that can be obtained include:
- High-Quality Draught Box
- Extra Combat EXP Scroll
- High-Quality Food Box
- Item Collection Increase Scrolls
There is also going to be a World Boss Drop Rate Boost that is active during the first two weeks of Season of the Hunt. This buff doubles the drop rate of coveted Boss items from Garmoth, Vell, Kzarka, Nouver, Kutum, Offin Tett, and Karnada. In addition, those who complete the Marni’s Stones Event get more rewards if they are able to fulfill the challenges within the Season of the Hunt period.
By October 2, a Special Pouch drop event is going to reward the best combatants, fishers, and gatherers in the game. These players get rare and fortune pouches which randomly give players coveted upgrade items.
Finally, high-level players are going to get a new grinding spot. The Kratuga Ancient Ruins is going to be added to the game on October 8. Adventurer's can fight mysterious ancient weapon constructs that drop Elkar, a material that can be used to produce Elkar’s Crystal. This new type of crystal provides All Accuracy +12 and Ignore All Resistance +10% effects and can be equipped on main weapons. The Kratuga Ancient Ruins can be accessed through the Hystria Ancient Ruins. Players, however, need Black Spirit’s Claw and it is recommended that they have AP of at least 250.
