Black Desert Online is releasing a talent update for Shai on July 31. Unlike other Black Desert Online classes who are awakened into new sources of power, Shais discover their talent to learn the melody of light and begin using musical instruments as their weapon.
To obtain a new item called “Sol,” Shai must complete a quest chain at level 56. The sol is a magical leaf from the maestro, who teaches the art of music. Depending on the skill used, Shai are able to play three different musical instruments, each with its own set of skills vital for Shai to succeed on the battlefield. Particularly, these instruments are the “Tring” in the form of a lute, a “Tute” in the form of a flute, and a “Tamtam” in the form of three djembes.
The talent update lets players experience a unique play style, specifically for a support class. Shais excels at providing buffs to allies in the battlefield. Shai fights off threats with a giant boomerang and avoid dangerous situations with swift movements. Shai can protect and heal those around them and can even call upon nature to assist in battle. Shai’s main talent skills are the following:
- Misty Haze
- Plays a dreamy tune which brings the listeners to a state of daze.
- Harder, Faster!
- Plays an energetic tune which empowers the listeners.
- Forest's Echo
- Plays a tune with the force of nature which stops Shai's enemies from moving.
Shais are just one of eighteen unique classes on Black Desert Online. The other classes that players can choose from are Dark Knights, Strikers, Warriors, Archers, Rangers, Berserkers, Valkyries, Mystics, Sorceresses, Wizards, Witches, Tamers, Ninjas, Musas, Maehwas, Kunoichis, and Lahns.
