Last week a new teaser for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Awakening DLC gave us a first look at one of the four new multiplayer maps called “Skyjacked,” which is set on an enormous airship that is hovering over the city of Zürich. Now, Activision has shared a teaser on another multiplayer map called ‘Splash.’
As the teaser reveals, the new ‘Splash’ map will take place in a whimsical abandoned water park. The detailed amusement park features water slides, rafts, a ride called Kraken’s Revenge and more. With its colorful textures, the map definitely has what it takes to be our favorite of the Black Ops 3 roster come the Black Ops 3 Awakening DLC release date on Feb. 2.
The YouTube video description describes: "Welcome to the perfect summer getaway. Set in an abandoned water theme park, Splash delivers a new aquatic environment to explore in Multiplayer. With vibrantly colored water-slides, a wrecked pirate ship, and a lazy river ride through a fantastical forgotten city, players can expect to take advantage of underwater combat opportunities in this all-new Call of Duty: Black Ops III - Awakening DLC map."
‘Splash’ will join the previously mentioned Skyjacked as well as Rise and Gauntlet. What’s more, the DLC will also deliver ‘Der Eisendrache’, a special Zombie campaign. A new ‘Der Eisendrache’ trailer was just released on Tuesday to give players their first look: Apparently, ‘Der Eisendrache’ will take place somewhere "new" and "real cold," where an enemy research station located at a snowy mountain cap is "hell-bent on advancing the German war machine."
The description reads: In “Der Eisendrache”, Origins characters Richtofen, Nikolai, Takeo, and Dempsey embark on a suicide mission to an enemy research facility built upon an archaic site of unspeakable horror. Massive deposits of Element 115 have recently been discovered, delivering inspired new gameplay and — in Zombies tradition — a variety of plot twists and surprises to discover at every turn.
