The anticipated Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Awakening DLC release date is Feb. 2, which means the new content is slated to drop in a little more than a week. The new DLC will feature a ton of new additions, including four new maps for multiplayer as well as a new Zombies campaign. Finally, a brief teaser of one of the new maps, dubbed Skyjacked, was shared on YouTube on Friday.
As the name Skyjacked suggests, the map is set on an airship that is hovering thousands of feet above Zürich. Skyjacked is also a remake of the fan-favorite map Hijacked of Black Ops 2.
The other maps that will join Skyjacked in the Awakening DLC include Gauntlet, Rise and Splash. Last but not least, new Zombies campaign mode titled Der Eisendrache will be included in the Awakening DLC as well.
The new Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Awakening DLC will arrive Deb. 2 for PlayStation 4 players. The update will also arrive to PC and Xbox One shortly afterwards. Sadly, Activision has yet to announce the PC and Xbox release date. Sadly, the Awakening DLC will not be available on PS3 and Xbox 360.
