Back in May, players got a new trailer for Bright Memory: Infinite, an expanded version of the already released Bright Memory. Originally, Bright Memory was released back in January 2019, and the expanded Bright Memory: Infinite is scheduled to release in 2021.
Zeng “FYQD” Xiancheng, the developer of Bright Memory, recently stated that the original Bright Memory is also aiming for the Xbox Series X launch.
Bright Memory is a fast-paced first-person shooter that also features hack-n-slash melee combat. From the get-go, players are thrown into action where they take on different enemies and unlock new skills after each level. In comparison to most modern games, Bright Memory features a short campaign that can be beaten in a single sitting. Despite this, the game is still critically acclaimed among both fans and critics.
Xbox Series X's launch lineup game list already includes a number of anticipated titles like Assassin's Creed Valhalla and Watch Dogs: Legion, and now Bright Memory is one of them as well. The launch lineup also includes Mircosoft's first-party releases like the next-gen version of Forza Horizon 4 and Gears Tactics, a turn-based Gears of War spin-off game which was originally released for Windows back in April. Even though the launch lineup for Xbox Series X looks pretty impressive, it is still missing the other 'Infinite' – Halo Infinite. Halo Infinite was originally planned to release as an Xbox Series X launch title, but the combination of COVID-19 and a poorly received gameplay trailer, the game has now been delayed into next year.
Bright Memory is currently out for PC and it is scheduled to release on Xbox Series X on November 12. Bright Memory: Infinite will launch in 2021.
