The Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare beta will start soon, but there are different start times for different consoles, and how everything will work hasn’t quite been clear. We now have some confirmations on the beta for both consoles, courtesy of IGN.
For PS4 players, the first beta period will begin on Oct. 14. The beta will launch starting at 1 p.m. EDT. While it hasn’t been explicitly mentioned by Activision, it’s anticipated the beta will end some time on Oct. 17.
The second beta period will be open to both PS4 and Xbox One owners. This beta time will start on Oct. 21 and is estimated to end on Oct. 24.
It’s not yet known what the beta will include. If previous betas are any indication, there will probably be two to three game modes to try out, and a small handful of maps and weapons to play with. If we’re lucky, there will be different things for PS4 players to try out during both beta periods.
If you want to get into the Infinite Warfare beta, you’ll have to pre-order the game. This isn’t an open beta, so you’ll have to pay if you want to play. The beta will also not come to PC gamers at all.
Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare releases for PS4, Xbox One and PC on Nov. 4.
So what do you think? Are you excited to try out the Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare beta on either Oct. 14 or 21? Are you bummed to know this beta is not open to everyone? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
